On July 4th, 2010, Ewa Villagers and residents of Oahu gathered at the original front gate of Ewa Field -- MCAS Ewa, to remember the US Marines and Ewa civilians killed nearby on Dec. 7, 1941. Today the site is the Ewa Train Museum, and offered the opportunity to take an historic train ride back into Ewa WW-II history. Passing by Ewa WW-II bases, with historians narrating, the ride was fun, educational, scenic and a chance to experience a classic historic era. |
